01. Choosing a property and reserving it
View apartments in person or by video. Once you’ve chosen, the property is reserved — so it doesn’t go to another buyer while the deal is being prepared.
02. Tax number
A foreigner needs a Turkish tax number for the deal. It is issued at the tax office on presentation of a passport — we’ll prepare everything and go with you.
03. Bank account
A Turkish bank account is opened for payments and utility bills.
04. Checks and the contract
Lawyers check the TAPU, the absence of encumbrances and the building documents, then prepare the sale and purchase agreement.
05. Registration at the land registry
The deal is registered at the land registry office: signing, paying the fee and receiving the TAPU — the title deed.
06. After the deal
Compulsory DASK earthquake insurance is taken out, and water, electricity and internet are transferred to the new owner.
